Lead Institution: University of Exeter
Collaborating with: Bournemouth University, Plymouth University
The project will have an on-going impact through:
1. The ongoing existence of the online community of practice - The website will remain live as will the JISCMail discussion group established by the project.
2. The continuation of the South West community of practice - Leadership of the community has transferred to Steve Cooper (s.cooper@bath.ac.uk) at the University of Bath and its focus in the coming academic year (2012 - 2013) will be on forging links with local Somali communities in the co-delivery of STEM outreach activities.
3. The work of the 'adopter' universities - The three adopter universities through the PTA process have all established new partnerships and outreach activities that will continue into the future.
4. The continuation of national and regional communities of practice - Inspired by the project, a national project focusing on HEI-third sector collaborations in STEM outreach will continue into the 2012 - 2013 academic year.
