Below is a case study of the 20-year partnership between Petroc and TDK Lamda UK, a unit of the TDK Corporation, a leading global electronics company.  TDK Lambda have an operational site based in Ilfracombe, North Devon in close proximity to Petroc’s  Barnstaple campus.

 The two organisations have collaborated to ensure effective knowledge and technology transfer. Learning conversations have taken place that have facilitated the continuing professional development of Petroc teaching and support staff and the workforce at TDK Lambda. Staff at both organisations have had the opportunity to update their subject knowledge and skills  in alignment with  current industrial practice. The partnership has facilitated workforce development at both organisations.
