As part of the employability skills and train the trainer workshops developed for the Employability Skills of STEM Student Ambassadors project, a number of general resources were developed to support students in thinking about, and examining, employability skills:
The below resources are of use to those who run student ambassador activities within universities and who may be asked to provide references for ambassadors. In addition, the example of an employment reference form might be of interest for students as a way of seeing the kind of skills / attitudes employers are looking for.

The below resources could be incorporated into the employability skills workshops as a means to get students to think more widely about what is meant by 'employability skills' and also, to practice answers to common interview questions.

As part of the project, a range of case studies of students who have undertaken the employability skills training were developed. These case studies provide reflections on how students have benefitted from the skills training, as well as their thoughts on the ambassador role in general.
