Higher Education Institutions [HEIs]/Further Education Colleges [FEC] knowledge of employer demand for Higher Education [HE] focused activity is often limited, and whilst labour market intelligence [LMI] has a role to play in supporting employer engagement, its use is inconsistent.

The guide below aims to support a greater understanding of the extent and nature of the LMI and how it can be used to inform HEI/FEC employer engagement activity
