The integration of understanding of offerings for engagement between universities and industry

Lead Institution: University of Exeter

This is a sub-project of Progressing from labour market intelligence to HE level provision that is well supported by employers

Project Outputs > Case Study 1 - Initial Engagement with Industry

The views in this case study about the process of making the intitial engagement with industry are drawn from staff at the University of Exeter, conversations with industry representatives as part of this project, but also from conversations with employers undertaken as part of the "The employer perspective on universities’ promotion of opportunities to engage with the STEM UG curriculum" project based at Bournemouth University. This is to ensure a balanced view is held, as the Exeter project focuses on staff and student perspectives.

This case study focuses on engagement with the College of Engineering, Maths and Physical Sciences at Exeter, though comments from industrial representatives may be referring to any FE or HE institution.
