A case study to learn from the experiences of Meet the Scientist and STEM Ambassadors who, through example and role modelling, nurture young people’s perceptions of science as a real choice for higher level study and career options.

As part of the project, a range of STEM ambassadors were interviewed to uncover their experiences of nurturing young people's perceptions of science as a real choice for higher level study and career options. The resultant case study, which can be downloaded below, is divided into 4 sections:

  1. Background to the case study
  2. Findings from interviews with 'Meet the Scientist' ambassador interviews
  3. Findings from interviews with STEM ambassadors engaged through the STEMNET programme
  4. Discussion and conclusion
